Garden City

Here's the first post from our vacation. We stopped in Garden City, Kansas to visit my Tancayo cousins. Harry had a great time at Jimmy's motorcycle shop, right up until he dropped a motorcycle while test riding it. He suffered lots of road rash and some back pain, but otherwise is fine.

Even with that, it was wonderful visiting with them and I
hope we get to see them lots more.

Here's a picture of Jimmy with his brand new granddaughter Molly, Harry and me at the cycle shop, Rebecca with Molly, and Hazel Jo and Jimmy together.

There is also a picture of Harry and his road rash on the bike he dropped.

Finished!

Here's the patio and walkway after the landscaping was put in. We left for Colorado right after it was done, so we haven't been able to use them yet, but are really looking forward to it.

Birthday dinner

Beth had both sets of grandparents to celebrate her birthday with her.  She picked Bob Evans and had her usual pancake meal, although I think she ate most of it after she went home with Nini and Papa John.  We will miss her, but I think she will be happy spending time with John and Jan and then going home.  She really misses her sisters!

Beth's visit

We have had fun having Beth visit us this week.  We got pictures of her at the park and with the cake she helped bake.  She directed the decorating of the cake, and I think she did a good job.  All of it was exactly as she told me to do it

Almost done

The patio is done except for the landscaping.  We are excited to have it and are looking forward to using it.  Here are a couple of pictures.  Beth took the one of me, so it is a little fuzzy.

All better

I visited the orthopedist yesterday and he said my arm is OK.  I can do whatever I want!  But I have to start physical therapy to regain motion in my arm.  I go the first time tomorrow.  Yeah!!
